Job summary: • Manage the AP team (for Merchandising and Non-Merchandising), make sure the team follow the company’s policy and payment term of the contract• Manage the GL team to work effectively and meet all the company requirements and follow government’s regulations on tax, the accounting system of Viet Nam …II
Job accountabilities:• AP: ensure the payments are correctly and timely according to company policies and government’s regulations- Review payment requests with full required supporting documents- Review all expenses and make sure the expenses are recorded fully, accurately, timely, and in the right accounting treatments- Develop AP team, train for new members, coach the existing members, motivate them • General ledger (GL) team:- Salary and related expenses: work with HR for all the details of payroll are correct and available and recorded in the correct accounting treatments/entries based on company policies including all salary-related expenses (e
g
social insurance, 13th salary, bonuses,…)
And do the quarterly reconciliation with HR
- Accruals: control all the accruals base on budget and actual cases to be done correctly- Allocations: Make sure all the expenses allocations are sufficient, correct, and on time- Tax-related: highly aware of tax regulations and stay updated on all the changes to ensure tax compliance
- Cash control: prepare cash flow weekly/monthly/quarterly to meet business requirements
- Make sure all the balances in thebalance sheet and all the numbers/information in P&L and other financial reports are correct with all details always available, balance sheet item is under control
- Provide strong support to management accounting team- Work with internal departments and external parties (tax, auditors, bank…) on all things to make sure the smooth operation of a financial accounting team- Proactive and initiative in proposing the new ways to get things done faster, better in the good sense of managing and controlling- Accounting book closing: manage the 2 AP teams and General Ledger to do month-end closing/quarter closing/interim-annual closing/annual closing correctly and timely- Other ad-hoc requirements Yêu cầu ứng viên III
Job requirements• Degree or higher in Accounting/Auditing/Finance• Other professional qualifications related to Accounting/Auditing/Finance• Minimum 8-10 years relevant working experience • Strong experience and knowledge in local and international accounting standards• Strong experience and knowledge in tax and other local regulations• Good sense in controlling and business acumen• Strong leadership skill• Able to work independently and possess a high level of responsibility and commitment • Able to work long and irregular hours under high pressure and tight deadline
